You'll also need to assign a unique name to your new WiFi network, and assign it to an appropriate radio channel. Once that's done, you should enable WPA security so that all of the traffic is encrypted. As you begin to configure WiFi security, you'll notice several other options (like "SSID Hiding", "MAC Filtering", and "WEP encryption"). Experience has shown that none of these other options are effective against even casual hackers, who will be able to see your traffic, use your bandwidth, and even blame you for any corrupt content that they send unless you correctly implement one of the WPA security options.
